Aditi: A Bold Five-Take Psychological Thriller

Aditi is shaping up to be one of the most technically ambitious indie films in recent times, with the makers revealing that the entire film has been shot in just five continuous takes, each lasting around 20–25 minutes.

Directed by Nelson Rogers W and Solomon K George, the film is backed by Millennium Ad Media and is currently in post-production, targeting a June release.

The psychological thriller revolves around a central character named Aditi and features a predominantly women-led cast, including Yieshaana Sannappanavar, Harshita Kallingal, Aarthi, Nisarga Manjunath and Yasha, alongside Danny Kuttappa, Sunil, Ajith Kumar and Gopi.

To achieve its unique format, the cast reportedly underwent months of rigorous rehearsals, ensuring precision in performance and blocking for the extended single-take sequences. Veteran cinematographer PKH Das played a crucial role in executing these long shots.

The film will release in multiple languages including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Konkani, with women writers contributing dialogues across versions. The Kannada version’s dialogues are penned by Kumudahalli Arunamurthy.

On the technical front, music is composed by Ramesh Krishna and Krishna Priyadarshan, with background score by Raj Bhaskar. Cinematography for the final schedule is handled by Venkatesh R, while editing is by Solomon K George.

Shot across Bengaluru and Kanakapura, Aditi stands out for its experimental storytelling and execution, positioning itself as a unique cinematic experience that blends performance intensity with technical precision.
