Kannada Star Shivarajkumar Declared Cancer-Free After Surgery in the US

Renowned Kannada actor Shivarajkumar has shared the uplifting news of being cancer-free after undergoing surgery for gallbladder cancer in the United States. In a heartfelt video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the 62-year-old, accompanied by his wife, politician Geetha Shivarajkumar, expressed his gratitude to his family, friends, and medical team for their immense support during his treatment.

Geetha Shivarajkumar confirmed the positive outcome, stating, “All the reports are negative, and I am glad to say Shivarajkumar is cancer-free.” The actor admitted to feeling tense before the procedure but remained resilient throughout.

Shivarajkumar revealed that he shot the climax of his upcoming film 45 amidst his treatment. “I don’t know where I got the courage from. However, I was nervous when leaving for surgery,” he confessed.

The actor reassured his fans about his recovery, saying, “Doctors have advised me to take it easy for the first month. After that, you will see the same Shivanna with twice the energy. Thank you all for your unwavering support.”

Sharing his gratitude on social media, he wrote, “I am eternally grateful for all your love and blessings. Happy New Year! #2025.”
