Yash to Begin Filming for ‘Ramayana Part 1’; Visits Mahakaleshwar Temple for Blessings

Pan-India star Yash, known for his iconic role in the K.G.F. series, is set to begin shooting for Ramayana Part 1 in Mumbai next week.
In line with his tradition of spiritual beginnings, Yash first visited the Shree Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain to seek blessings before stepping into the shoes of Raavan—a complex character known for his devotion to Lord Mahadev.
Yash stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in this mythological epic directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Not just an actor, Yash also takes on the role of co-producer through his banner, Monster Mind Creations, in collaboration with Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios.
Slated as one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects, Ramayana promises to combine rich storytelling with cutting-edge technology. Part 1 is scheduled for a grand Diwali 2026 release, with Part 2 to follow in Diwali 2027.
