Bejoy Nambiar’s Tu Yaa Main pits influencers Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor against a deadly crocodile in a tense survival thriller.
The trailer of Tu Yaa Main, starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, was unveiled on Thursday, giving audiences a glimpse into a gritty survival thriller directed by Bejoy Nambiar. The film blends influencer culture with creature-feature thrills, centring on two social media personalities whose planned collaboration turns into a fight for survival.
The trailer opens with a nostalgic nod to Khoon Bhari Maang (1988), as a VCR tape plays the iconic crocodile sequence featuring Rekha. This visual cue sets the tone before introducing Maruti Kadam, aka Aala Flowpara (Adarsh Gourav), a gully rapper from Nalasopara, and Avani Shah, aka Miss Vanity (Shanaya Kapoor), a polished, upscale influencer. Their chance meeting leads to flirtation and a decision to head out of the city for a collaboration.
What begins as a content-driven getaway soon spirals into chaos when the duo find themselves trapped with a crocodile in what appears to be an abandoned swimming pool. The trailer teases several tense and gory moments as Maruti and Avani struggle to outwit the predator and escape alive.
Tu Yaa Main is produced by Colour Yellow and Bhanushali Studios, with Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Vinod Bhanushali, and Kamlesh Bhanushali backing the project. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 13, where it will clash with the Shahid Kapoor–Triptii Dimri starrer O’Romeo.
