Sonakshi Sinha Hunts the Supernatural in Chilling ‘Nikita Roy’ Trailer

The trailer of 'Nikita Roy', a supernatural psychological thriller headlined by Sonakshi Sinha, dropped on June 11, and it sets a deeply eerie tone. The film, directed by Kussh S Sinha and penned by Pavan Kirpalan, also stars Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal, and Suhail Nayyar in pivotal roles.

Opening with haunting imagery, the trailer shows Sonakshi stepping into a shadowy house in the middle of the woods. What follows are flashes of ghostly apparitions, cryptic symbols, and rising paranoia. Sonakshi’s character, determined and skeptical, appears to be on a mission—to uncover a series of murders linked to an enigmatic godman played by Paresh Rawal.

Rawal’s role hints at sinister manipulation, as he commands blind followers while hiding something darker beneath his spiritual façade. Arjun Rampal joins Sonakshi in her quest, and the two seem to unravel secrets that blur the lines between reality and hallucination.

The film taps into themes of psychological manipulation, paranoia, religious blind faith, and buried trauma, making it more than just a ghost story. The visual tone and sparse dialogue suggest a slow-burn thriller that keeps the audience guessing till the end.

Backed by producers Nickky Khemchand Bhagnani, Viicky Bhagnani, Ankur Takrani, and others, Nikita Roy is slated to release in theatres on June 27, 2025.
