Raftaar: Rajkummar Rao & Keerthy Suresh Film Locks July 24 Release

The upcoming Hindi film Raftaar, starring Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh, is set to release in theatres on July 24. The announcement was made by Amazon MGM Studios on Saturday.

Directed by debutant Aditya Nimbalkar, the film is set in the high-pressure world of start-ups, where ambition, money and power collide with personal relationships.

Produced by Patralekhaa under the banner of Kampa Films, the story revolves around a fast-rising start-up and the complex relationship between a driven man and an equally ambitious woman. As their pursuit of success intensifies, love begins to clash with greed and the desire to win at any cost.

The ensemble cast also includes Rajat Kapoor, Tanya Maniktala, Rohan Verma and Anurag Thakur.

The story and screenplay are written by Rohan Narula, while lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil and Varun Grover. The music is composed by Sachet–Parampara along with Achint Thakar, and production design is handled by Mayur Sharma.

Before making his directorial debut, Aditya Nimbalkar worked as an assistant director on acclaimed films like Kaminey, Haider and Pataakha.

For Keerthy Suresh, a prominent star in Tamil and Telugu cinema, Raftaar continues her journey in Hindi films after her Bollywood debut in Baby John.
