Paresh Rawal Confirms Exit from Hera Pheri 3, Fans Doubt Future of Franchise

The journey of Hera Pheri 3 has been turbulent. Initially, Akshay Kumar distanced himself from the project, leading to speculation about Kartik Aaryan stepping in. While Akshay later reconciled with producer Firoz Nadiadwala and rejoined the cast, the project was delayed again due to legal hurdles. Fans were hopeful when Akshay confirmed Priyadarshan’s return as director—but Paresh Rawal’s departure has now cast fresh doubts on the film’s future.

Addressing the casting confusion in a recent interview, Rawal clarified that Kartik Aaryan was initially considered for a different role and not as a replacement for Akshay’s character, Raju. “They thought Kartik would play Raju, but the character was entirely different,” Rawal said. Eventually, with the return of the original lineup, Kartik was dropped.

Rawal also reflected on the previous installment, Phir Hera Pheri, expressing that it lost the essence of the original due to overconfidence and unnecessary elements. He emphasized the need to retain the simplicity that made Hera Pheri a timeless classic.

With Babu Bhaiya no longer part of the narrative, the future of Hera Pheri 3 remains uncertain. Fans now await official updates, holding onto hope that the magic of the original trio might still make a comeback.
