Karan Johar Introduces New Family Member Nugget, Announces Release Date of ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’

Karan Johar, Bollywood’s beloved director-producer and often dubbed the industry’s “launch king,” gave fans a peek into his personal life and professional updates this week.

Taking to Instagram, KJo introduced fans to the newest member of his family — a dog named Nugget. The adorable pooch has apparently been part of the Johar household for six months, spreading joy among Karan and his twins, Yash and Roohi.

“He has been with us for 6 months and has given us so much joy and so much love  we want you to meet our newest member of our family,” wrote Karan alongside heartwarming pictures of Nugget playing with the kids.

On the work front, Karan also dropped a major announcement. His upcoming romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri will hit theatres on February 13, 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The film stars Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, reuniting after their 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh.

KJo shared a still from the film — a romantic moment of Kartik and Ananya sharing a kiss behind an Indian passport — with the caption:

“Signed, sealed & delivering hamaari Ray ki Rumi!”

This project also marks a reunion between Kartik Aaryan and Dharma Productions after a very public fallout during the making of Dostana 2. The two parties appear to have buried the hatchet, signaling a new and more collaborative chapter.

While Kartik’s stardom has soared post-pandemic, Karan has seen major changes within Dharma Productions, reportedly selling 50% stake to Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India. This transition hints at strategic moves for the banner’s long-term sustainability.

With family warmth and a romantic entertainer on the way, Karan Johar is clearly blending the personal with the professional in 2025–2026 — and fans seem to be loving every bit of it.
