Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Trailer Promises Varun Dhawan’s Wild Comedy of Confusion

The official trailer of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai was unveiled on Saturday, offering a glimpse into a full-blown comedy of errors headlined by Varun Dhawan. Directed by David Dhawan, the entertainer also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in key roles.

The trailer introduces a quirky and chaotic storyline where Varun’s character, eager to become a father as quickly as possible, decides to separate legally from his wife Bani, played by Mrunal Thakur, and begins a new relationship with Preet, portrayed by Pooja Hegde. Things spiral out of control when both women unexpectedly announce their pregnancies and arrive at the same hotel simultaneously.

The film revolves around the protagonist’s desperate attempts to manage the expectations of both women while trying to prevent them from discovering the truth about each other, leading to a series of comic situations.

Adding to the madness is Mouni Roy, who plays the hero’s fake mother. The supporting cast also includes Rakesh Bedi, Maniesh Paul, and Chunky Pandey.

The film’s story and screenplay are written by Yunus Sajawal, while dialogues are penned by Farhad Samji. The technical crew features cinematographer Ayananka Bose and editor Ritesh Soni. The project is produced by Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films.

The trailer launch, initially planned as a grand event on Thursday, was postponed due to technical issues before finally being released on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the film has also landed in controversy following a legal dispute with producer Vashu Bhagnani, who has accused the makers of using songs from one of his films without securing proper music rights or permissions.
