The much-anticipated Drishyam 3 is officially set to go on floors on October 2, 2025, in Mumbai. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the final chapter of the blockbuster franchise brings back its powerhouse trio — Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna — for a thrilling conclusion. The film will pick up where the second part left off, continuing the intense battle of wits between Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay), determined police officers (Tabu and Akshaye), and a justice system closing in.
The story is expected to offer a gripping final showdown, wrapping up the franchise on a high. Shriya Saran will reprise her role as Vijay’s wife, and casting is currently underway for other pivotal characters.
Interestingly, Drishyam 3 will be filmed simultaneously in both Hindi and Malayalam, with Ajay Devgn and Mohanlal leading their respective versions — maintaining the franchise’s unique dual-language legacy.
Ajay Devgn, who is currently working on Dhamaal 4 and Ranger, plans to complete those projects before diving into Drishyam 3. After wrapping it up, he’s also expected to resume work on Golmaal FIVE and Shaitaan Returns, making 2025-26 one of the actor’s busiest phases yet.
Fans can expect a Gandhi Jayanti 2026 release for Drishyam 3, which promises a nail-biting, emotionally charged conclusion to one of Indian cinema’s most successful thriller series.
