Echoes of Valour, starring Divya Dutta and Neeraj Kabi, is set for a private showcase at the 2025 Venice Film Festival. Directed by Indira Dhar, the poignant biopic tells the story of an Indian army soldier’s mother, delving into themes of motherhood, loss, and the unseen strength of women in times of conflict. The film, over four years in the making, is described as a layered meditation on love, grief, and redemption. Speaking about its Venice screening, Dhar called the project an intensely personal journey, adding that beginning its global conversation at a place that values vulnerability and vision feels fitting. Produced by Margaret Zambonini and IKA Studios, the screening marks Dhar’s return to the international festival circuit after Putul.
