Diljit Dosanjh made waves on Monday night by becoming only the second Indian artist to feature on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Dressed in his iconic Coachella outfit—a white kurta and pyjama, white pagri, and black vest—Diljit took the stage with flair, performing his hit songs "GOAT" and "Born to Shine."
His energetic bhangra moves and live singing had the audience, including Jimmy Fallon, grooving in their seats. The crowd's enthusiasm culminated in a standing ovation, with Fallon praising Diljit as "wow."
Punjabi Aagae Oye!
Diljit brought his signature Punjabi swag to the show, effortlessly engaging the audience. In a behind-the-scenes video, he humorously taught Fallon his catchphrase, "Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye," and introduced him to the Punjabi greeting "Sat Sri Akal," which Fallon managed to say gracefully. Priyanka Chopra, the only other Indian to appear on the show, reacted to the video with, "It's the Oye for me."
