Dhurandhar 2 Trailer Out: Ranveer Singh Promises Explosive Revenge Drama

The makers of Dhurandhar 2 have released the much-awaited trailer, giving fans a glimpse of the high-octane sequel directed by Aditya Dhar. The film, a follow-up to the blockbuster Dhurandhar, is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, 2026.

The trailer brings back Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, also known as Hamza. The story picks up from where the first film ended, with Jaskirat continuing his dangerous mission inside a powerful criminal network. The trailer hints that he is gradually rising within the ranks of the Lyari underworld and may soon become the next “Lyari ka Badshah.”

In the original film, Jaskirat infiltrated a Baloch gang led by Rahman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna, as part of a covert Indian operation. The sequel expands on this narrative, showing him working from within the organisation to dismantle a terror network. The trailer builds tension with intense action sequences and dramatic moments, backed by a remixed version of the track Ari Ari by Bombay Rockers.

The preview ends with a powerful dialogue from Jaskirat declaring that the future of Pakistan will now be decided by India, setting the tone for a dramatic and action-packed storyline.

The first film, released in December 2025, turned out to be a massive box-office success despite mixed reviews, reportedly earning over ₹1300 crore worldwide. It featured a strong ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.

Interestingly, the sequel will enjoy a largely clear run at the box office after Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, postponed its release to June due to geopolitical tensions affecting overseas markets. This gives Dhurandhar 2 a wider release window across India.

The film is also expected to release in South Indian languages this time, expanding its reach beyond Hindi-speaking markets. While it will face some competition in Telugu states from Ustaad Bhagat Singh starring Pawan Kalyan, industry expectations remain high for the sequel’s box-office performance.
