Dhurandhar 2 trailer drops with surprise: paid preview shows open from March 18 evening ahead of its March 19 theatrical release.
The makers of Dhurandhar 2 have unveiled the film’s much-awaited trailer along with an exciting surprise for fans. The sequel, directed by Aditya Dhar, will have paid preview shows starting from the evening of March 18, a day ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on March 19.
The announcement was revealed at the end of the trailer, which teases another stylish and gritty action saga. This installment promises to explore the backstory of Jaskirat and his transformation into Hamza, the feared king of the Lyari underworld.
The sequel arrives at a strategic moment after Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, postponed its release to June. The shift potentially gives Dhurandhar 2 a stronger box office run during the festive window.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the sequel sees several actors returning from the first installment. The ensemble includes Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun, while Yami Gautam reportedly joins the cast as a new entrant.
On the technical front, cinematography is handled by Vikash Nowlakha, with editing by Shivkumar V Panicker. Panicker also contributes to the additional screenplay alongside Ojas Gautam. Costume design is by Smriti Chauhan.
Music for the sequel is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, who returns after creating a widely appreciated soundtrack for the first film. The action sequences are choreographed by stunt experts Aejaz Gulab, Sea Young Oh, Yannick Ben and Ramazan Bulut.
With the trailer generating strong buzz and advance bookings for previews now open, Dhurandhar 2 is gearing up for an action-packed arrival in theatres this March.
