After deleting all posts on Instagram and Twitter, Deepika Padukone shared an audio diary on the photo-sharing platform in New Year. The actress wished her fans a Happy New Year and asked them what they are grateful for. In her audio note, the Chhapaak actress said that the audio diary is a record of all her feelings and thoughts. Deepika deleted all her posts on Instagram and Twitter on December 31, leaving all her fans guessing for the reason.
Deepika Padukone shared an audio clip in which she is heard wishing her fans a Happy New Year. She also said that it was a record of her thoughts and feelings. In the audio clip, she can be heard saying, "Hi everyone, welcome to my audio diary, a record of my thoughts and feelings. I'm sure all of you will agree with me that 2020 was a year of uncertainity for everybody. But for me it was also about gratitude and about being present. And as for 2021 all I can wish for myself and for everyone else is good health. Happy New Year."
She captioned the post, "It’s 1.1.2021! Happy New Year Everyone! What are you grateful for...? (sic)."
