Bhooth Bangla Trailer Out: Akshay Kumar & Priyadarshan Return with Horror-Comedy

The trailer of Bhooth Bangla has been officially released, marking the much-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan after 15 years since Khatta Meetha.

Set in the eerie town of Mangalpur, the film introduces a world filled with black magic, haunted legends, and a mysterious entity named Vadhusur. The trailer opens with a chilling voiceover describing the vengeful force that seeks to bring someone back to life, setting the tone for a supernatural thriller.

Akshay Kumar plays a central character residing in a haunted mansion where strange and unexplained events begin to unfold. The narrative hints at a thousand-year-old curse and a mysterious forest, adding layers of intrigue to the story.

Blending horror with comedy, the film promises to deliver both scares and laughs, staying true to Priyadarshan’s signature style. The ensemble cast includes Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Mithila Palkar, and Wamiqa Gabbi, along with the late Asrani.

The film is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor. The screenplay has been crafted by Priyadarshan along with Rohan Shankar and Abilash Nair, while the story is written by Aakash Kaushik. Music for the film is composed by Pritam.

Bhooth Bangla is all set to hit theatres on April 16, 2026, promising an entertaining mix of horror, humour, and mystery.
