Bhooth Bangla Teaser: Akshay Kumar & Priyadarshan Revisit Horror-Comedy Nostalgia

The teaser of Bhooth Bangla has been unveiled, offering a nostalgic ride into the signature horror-comedy universe crafted by director Priyadarshan. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead and brings together a familiar ensemble that fans of classic Bollywood comedies will instantly recognise.

The teaser takes viewers back to the iconic haveli from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. However, this time the mansion is not haunted by Manjulika but by a new supernatural entity named Vadhusur. Akshay appears to be a potential buyer who arrives to purchase the eerie mansion, setting the stage for the film’s spooky yet humorous narrative.

The short preview offers quick glimpses of the film’s ensemble cast, including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu and the late Asrani. The teaser also introduces new additions such as Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar, Rajesh Sharma and Jisshu Sengupta.

The film marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after 16 years, their last collaboration being Khatta Meetha. The duo is also set to collaborate on upcoming projects like Hera Pheri 3 and Haiwaan, the latter also starring Saif Ali Khan.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor and Akshay Kumar, Bhooth Bangla is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10.
