Bhansali’s Love & War Sets Republic Day 2027 Release

The much-awaited 'Love & War', directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, has officially locked its release date. The grand romantic drama is slated to hit theatres on January 21, 2027, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend.

Mounted on a massive scale, the film is positioned as an intense emotional saga that blends romance with high-stakes drama. Known for his opulent visual style and immersive storytelling, Bhansali is expected to deliver yet another cinematic spectacle that combines grandeur with deep emotional resonance.

'Love & War' marks Bhansali’s reunion with Ranbir Kapoor after 'Saawariya' (2007) and with Alia Bhatt following 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' (2022). The film brings together a powerful trio of actors, raising expectations among audiences.

Having gone on floors in January 2024, the film is being crafted as one of Bhansali’s most ambitious projects to date. In addition to Hindi, it will also be released in dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu, aiming to reach a wider audience across India.
