Ayushmann Khurrana’s Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Crosses Rs 10 Crore at Box Office

Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest comedy entertainer Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has crossed the Rs 10 crore mark at the domestic box office within two days of release, according to the film’s makers.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film hit theatres on Friday and features an ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The project is backed by T-Series

The makers shared the film’s box office figures on social media, stating that it collected Rs 4.38 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 6.67 crore on Saturday, taking the total collection to Rs 11.05 crore.

However, trade tracking platform Sacnilk  reported slightly different figures, estimating the film’s two-day collection at Rs 9.75 crore, with Rs 4 crore earned on Friday and Rs 5.75 crore on Saturday.

The film serves as a follow-up to the 2019 comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh, which itself was inspired by the 1979 classic of the same name starring Sanjeev Kumar.

Described as a comedy of errors, the story revolves around Prajapati, played by Ayushmann, who finds himself entangled in a chaotic situation involving three women, portrayed by Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
