Alpha Gets New Release Date; Alia Bhatt-Sharvari Actioner Moves to July 10

The makers of Alpha have announced a new release date for the much-awaited action thriller starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The film will now arrive in theatres on July 10, marking another shift in its release schedule.

Earlier, the film had been postponed to April 17, but the producers have now opted for a mid-year release. The announcement came with a new concept poster shared by Yash Raj Films, featuring a bruised and fierce-looking Alia Bhatt, hinting at the film’s intense action-driven narrative.

Directed by Shiv Rawal—known for the series The Railway Men—Alpha also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in prominent roles.

The film marks the first female-led entry in the popular YRF Spy Universe. In the film, the characters played by Alia and Sharvari are expected to go head-to-head with Bobby Deol’s antagonist in a high-stakes action showdown.

The spy universe began with Ek Tha Tiger and expanded with blockbuster entries such as Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan and Tiger 3. The latest addition before Alpha was War 2.

As of now, Alpha stands as the only major Hindi release scheduled for July 10, giving the film a relatively open box office window.
