Ajay Devgn & Rohit Shetty Gear Up for Golmaal FIVE – Filming Begins in 2026, Release Slated for Early 2027

One of Bollywood’s most successful actor-director collaborations is back! Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, the dynamic duo behind hits like Singham, Bol Bachchan, and the beloved Golmaal series, are officially reuniting for their 14th film together—Golmaal FIVE.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Rohit Shetty is currently wrapping up the Rakesh Maria biopic with John Abraham, expected to be completed by September 2025. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is busy juggling multiple projects, including Ranger, Drishyam 2, Total Dhamaal, and Son of Sardaar 2, which will release soon.

Once Shetty is done with post-production on the biopic, pre-production for Golmaal FIVE will begin in early 2026, with the team planning to take it on floors by February/March 2026. The release is scheduled for early 2027.

The fifth installment will bring back the original cast—Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade, and Johnny Lever—along with Ajay Devgn at the center of the chaos. A fresh team of writers has been roped in to craft a brand-new storyline, aiming to deliver a modern twist while keeping the signature madness of Golmaal intact.

The franchise, known for its slapstick humor, outrageous plots, and meme-worthy moments, remains one of Indian cinema’s most successful comedy series, and expectations are sky-high for this next chapter.
