The first song from Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been released. A revamped version of the iconic Aari Aari brings back the classic Punjabi party vibe while showcasing Ranveer Singh’s intense avatar as Hamza.

The makers of Dhurandhar: The Revenge have unveiled the film’s first track, Aari Aari, a refreshed version of the popular Punjabi pop song originally created by Bombay Rockers. The song was released online on March 12, adding to the growing excitement around the film’s theatrical release.

The new version of Aari Aari has been reimagined by director Aditya Dhar, with music composed, arranged and programmed by Shashwat Sachdev. The track blends modern production with energetic Punjabi beats, making it a vibrant party anthem.

The song features vocals from Navtej Singh Rehal, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas, and Sudhir Yaduvanshi. Rap segments are performed by Reble and Token, while the lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil along with Bombay Rockers. The track’s score has been produced by Adam Lucas.

The music video includes scenes from the recently released trailer along with new visuals of Ranveer Singh in a fierce and destructive avatar as Hamza Ali Mazari. The visuals highlight the intense and action-packed tone of the upcoming sequel.

Interestingly, Aari Aari has a long musical legacy. The original track was released in 2003 as part of Bombay Rockers’ debut album Introducing. At the time, the duo became known for blending Punjabi vocals with Western pop, hip-hop and club sounds, creating a distinctive style that resonated with audiences both in India and internationally.

With its energetic rhythm and nostalgic connection to the early 2000s Punjabi pop era, the new version aims to bring the iconic track to a new generation of listeners.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is gearing up for its theatrical release on March 19, with special previews scheduled for March 18. The film continues the story from the first instalment, exploring Hamza’s rise as a powerful figure in Karachi’s Lyari and his growing influence in the criminal and political world.
