Priyanka Chopra, Orlando Bloom Team Up for Survival Thriller Reset

Priyanka Chopra and Orlando Bloom are set to star together in the upcoming survival thriller Reset. Directed by Matt Smukler, the film is expected to begin production in August, with international sales launching at the Marché du Film in Cannes.

According to the makers, the story follows a woman, played by Priyanka Chopra, who wakes up alone in the wilderness with no memory of how she got there. Stranded far from civilisation, her only hope lies in trusting a mysterious stranger portrayed by Orlando Bloom — though his true intentions remain uncertain.

Speaking about the casting, Smukler noted that he wanted a pairing capable of balancing attraction and suspicion simultaneously, adding that Priyanka and Orlando naturally brought that dynamic to life.

The film is produced by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber under Fratricidal Films, alongside Michael Lazarovitch, Matthew Rhodes, Priyanka’s Purple Pebble Pictures, and Orlando Bloom’s Amazing Owl banner. Nadine de Barros serves as executive producer.

Priyanka Chopra was recently seen leading and producing The Bluff and also appeared in Heads of State. She previously starred in The White Tiger and has backed acclaimed projects like Anuja and To Kill a Tiger through her production house.

She was also recently seen in Season 2 of Citadel and will next appear in Varanasi, the upcoming action-adventure film directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Mahesh Babu.
