The upcoming horror film Good Boy offers a spine-chilling narrative from an unusual point of view—that of a dog. The story revolves around Indy, a loyal companion who moves into a new home with his owner, Todd. At first, their life together seems peaceful, with glimpses of Indy’s journey from playful puppy to grown protector.
The teaser takes a darker turn as Indy, while wandering the house at night, senses an eerie presence. Soon, he confronts a shadowy entity that appears to dwell within the walls. The fast-paced sequences show Indy barking through the night, patrolling the forests, and standing guard over Todd, all while supernatural forces creep closer. One particularly terrifying moment shows Todd’s grandfather letting out a bloodcurdling scream, hinting at a disturbing possession.
Directed by Ben Leonberg in his feature debut, the film stars Shane Jensen, Arielle Friedman, Larry Fessenden, and Leonberg’s own pet, Indy, in the lead role. Set to hit theaters on October 3, Good Boy promises a fresh twist on horror, blending man’s best friend with mankind’s worst nightmares.
