Allu Arjun–Atlee’s AA22xA6 Titled Raaka; First Look Hints at a Fierce Transformation

Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated collaboration with Atlee has officially been titled Raaka. The announcement, made on the actor’s birthday, was accompanied by a striking first-look poster featuring Allu Arjun with kohl-lined eyes and a clawed, beast-like hand—hinting at a possible half-human, half-animal transformation in the film.

The project also stars Deepika Padukone in a key role. Additionally, actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Kajol are reportedly in discussions to join the ensemble, although official confirmation is still awaited. Meanwhile, Yogi Babu has confirmed his involvement.

While plot details remain under wraps, the film has already generated massive buzz due to its scale and ambition. Earlier, Allu Arjun and Atlee visited top VFX studios in Los Angeles, including Ironhead Studio, collaborating with renowned technicians like Jose Fernandez and James Madigan—pointing toward a visually grand, VFX-driven narrative. Speculation is rife that Raaka could venture into the sci-fi genre.

Speaking about the project previously, Atlee described it as his dream film, promising a “visionary cinematic experience” powered by cutting-edge technology.

The film features music by Sai Abhyankkar and is produced by Kalanidhi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.

With its intriguing first look and high production ambitions, Raaka is shaping up to be one of the most awaited pan-Indian films.
