The Sound Story in Hindi and Malayalam, Oru Kadhai Sollatuma in Tamil is a multi lingual film written and directed by Prasad Prabhakar, starring sound designer Resul Pookutty. Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty will be marking his acting debut with this film. The films narrates the story of a sound designer who strives hard to realize his dream of recording all the sounds of the Thrissur Pooram. Thrissur Pooram is an annual Hindu temple festival which is celebrated at Kerala. The festival is spread over seven days in total and is one of the biggest Kerala festivals attended by a million people every year. It was Resul's dream to record the sounds of Pooram festival live. As per reports, over 80 technicians from Hollywood and India worked on capturing the live sounds of the Pooram festival featuring 300 artists and crowd.
