Parole is a Malayalam movie directed by Sharrath Sandith, starring Mammootty, Mia George and Pallavi in the lead roles. It is also reported that Telugu actor Prabhakar who rose to fame playing the role of 'Kalakeya' in Baahubali has been roped to play a pivotal role in the movie. This will mark Prabhakar's debut appearance in Mollywood. Mammootty will appear as a convict in the movie and the film's story is based on real life incidents. Parole will not be like other mass entertaining movies which Mammootty has acted in and will be highly content oriented. The Plot: Alex (Mammootty) is a prisoner loved by all other inmates and police officers. He gets parole after spending eight years in jail. The film’s story is based on how Alex, a communist follower and a family man ends up in jail and how he sets up everything right in his parole period.
