Methagu 2 is a Tamil biopic action drama movie directed by Kittu.The movie is said to be a sequel to the 'Methagu-I' which was released in June 2021.This second part is based on the injustices inflicted on Tamils in Eelam soil during 1980's period, the disenfranchisement, the tragic events in which lives and property were oppressed, and the incidents in which the Tamils decided to fight for their liberation at their own soil.The film narrates the story of Velupillai Prabhakaran’s life and his vision. The film features Kuttimani as LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran.
