Pooja Kumar is an Indian-American actress, model, and producer known for her work in Tamil, Hindi, and English films. Born on February 4, 1977, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, she is a trained classical dancer in Kathak, Bharatnatyam, and Kuchipudi. After starting her career in Tamil cinema with Kadhal Rojave (2000), she gained widespread recognition for her role in Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam (2013) and its sequel. She has also appeared in Hollywood films like Man on a Ledge and Flavors.
Pooja has hosted TV shows and acted in theater productions, showcasing her versatility in entertainment. She holds a degree in Political Science and Finance from Washington University and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Pooja is married to Vishal Joshi and has a daughter
