Jayam Ravi's upcoming project 'Genie'

Actor Jayam Ravi, known for his recent appearance in the Tamil film 'Siren', is currently occupied with shooting for his upcoming project.
His 35th film, titled 'Genie', is helmed by debutant director Arjunan, who previously worked as an associate of director Mysskin. The makers have unveiled the first look poster of the film, showcasing Jayam Ravi in the role of a genie, sporting a stylish man bun.
The poster depicts Jayam Ravi emerging from a pot, surrounded by riches such as money, gold coins, and various food items. Notably, the actor is shown with a broken chain encircling him. 'Genie' is touted to be a pan-Indian venture, slated for release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. Alongside Jayam Ravi, the film features Kalyani Priyadarshan, Krithi Shetty, and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles. Renowned musician AR Rahman has composed the music for the movie.
Looking ahead, Jayam Ravi's subsequent project following 'Genie' is 'Brother', directed by M Rajesh. Following this, he is reported to join forces with director Mohan Raja for 'Thani Oruvan 2', a sequel to the successful film 'Thani Oruvan'. However, it's worth mentioning that Jayam Ravi has opted out of the film 'Thug Life', directed by Mani Ratnam, which stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Before Jayam Ravi, actor Dulquer Salmaan was also rumored to have withdrawn from the project.
