SS Rajamouli Joins AMPAS: Celebrated Director and His Wife Invited to Vote in 2025 Oscars

SS Rajamouli and his wife, Rama Rajamouli, have been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), making them eligible to vote in the 2025 Oscars. Other notable Indian invitees include Shabana Azmi, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Ravi Varman.
SS Rajamouli, the renowned director behind Tollywood hits like Eega, Baahubali 1 & 2, and the globally acclaimed RRR, is once again in the limelight. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has invited him to join its ranks, making him eligible to vote for the 2025 Oscars. His wife, Rama Rajamouli, a costume designer for his films, has also received this prestigious invitation.
